A website has been launched with an assessment of the media activity of universities – Search


The Ministry of Science and Higher Education announced the launch of the country’s first site with the M-rate university rating (m-rating.rf) and presented the assessment of the media activity of educational institutions for August.

The first place in the ranking in August was kept by the Russian University of Economics. GV Plekhanov, the second was the Ural Federal University. the first president of Russia BN Yeltsin, and the National Research Technological University “MISiS” went to the third.

The August media rating was compiled based on indicators of 229 subordinate organizations, including 11 agricultural universities, which were transferred to the ministry this summer. M-rate consists of three indicators: the effectiveness of the university’s work with the media
(Index Mass Media), social networks (Index Social) and the official website (Index Site). Each of the three indicators is calculated separately and affects the final formula to calculate the results.

Index Mass Media takes into account the number of publications about the university and its employees in regional, federal and online media, the audience of these sources, the number of stories on television channels, as well as the number of exclusive news stories about the university or your published projects
on the resources of the Ministry of Education and Science.

Index Social takes into account whether the organization has accounts and works on social networks. Index Site takes into account factors such as the audience of the site, the time users spend on it, the number of visits per month and bounce rates.
