The qualifying stage of the Abilympics National Championship began in the Ulyanovsk region

The championship of professional skills for people with disabilities will end on September 27. 27 people participate in this year’s qualifying competitions in 18 competitions in three age categories: schoolchildren, students, specialists. Most of the competitors are enrolled in the skills: plumbing, word processing, early childhood education.

“The main goal of the Abilympics championship is to help people with disabilities to master new types of professional activities, as well as to expand their employment opportunities. The Ulyanovsk region has been participating in the championship since 2016. And every year our young people only improve their results at the National Championship, many of them win gold, silver and bronze medals,” he shared the performance. Minister of Education and Education of the Ulyanovsk Region Irina Kiseleva.

Seven sites were allocated for the championship in colleges and technical schools: Ulyanovsk Aviation College – Interregional Competition Center, Ulyanovsk College of Industry Technologies and Design, Ulyanovsk Social and Pedagogical College, Inza State College of Industry Technologies, Economics and Law, Ulyanovsk Pharmaceutical College from the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Dimitrovgrad Technical College, Ulyanovsk Olympic Reserve School (Technical School).

The final stage of the Abilympics National Championship is scheduled for October 2022 in Moscow.
